Starting in our youth, up until the point in which we die, we are trained to achieve some “greater” purpose, along the way accomplishing small victories. However what may seem small to some, may in fact be a great accomplishment to others. For instance someone with dyslexia may consider finishing a 200 page novel in a week a success while others see that as a normal thing. The point is people will always have different views of what’s important, so trying to impress people with your latest feat may not yield the result you expect. Also it’s important to note that not everyone will be happy with your success. Knowing this can help a person know when to key people in on their success and when not to. Also the ability to show your happiness for others’ success can show people that it’s ok to be happy for other people. Sometimes it’s important to set an example of yourself.
